Ulsnes Farm – Our Family Farm

About 20 minutes by car from the campsite you’ll find the farm where the family lives, with sheep, horses and a small fruit orchard.

Ulsnestunet - Three small cabins – two for sleeping only, and the third equipped with a kitchen and toilet. Brave guests can try the outdoor shower, while others are welcome to shower in the main house. Total sleeping capacity: 6 across the cabins.

Ulsneskjedlaren - An apartment with a double bed in one bedroom and bunk beds in another. It includes a kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a living room with TV/WiFi.

A Third-Generation Family Business

Kjærtveit Camping is a third-generation family business located by the river Eio where it meets the Hardangerfjord. We offer cabins and apartments year-round, and camping from April to October. Everything in Eidfjord centre is within walking distance.

Eidfjord offers close access to the fjord and a short drive to Hardangervidda. Within a 30-minute drive you’ll find Måbødalen, Vøringsfossen, the Norwegian Nature Centre, Kjeåsen and Mikkelparken. Within 30 minutes on foot, you can reach Galleri Bergslien, Viking graves, medieval churches and all facilities in Eidfjord.
