At Kjærtveit Camping, you’ll find a wide range of options – from peaceful stays in cabins and apartments to exciting activities and local rentals. Here, you can choose what suits you best, whether you want to relax by the fjord or explore everything the area has to offer.
Accommodation
The campsite has 60 pitches for caravans and motorhomes, plus an additional 10–15 tent-only spots. Across cabins and apartments, we offer around 85 beds divided between 9 apartments, 4 cabins, and single rooms.
Rental Services
We rent out boats for use on the fjord and offer rod fishing in the river Eio. Feel free to contact us about anything else you might need – we can often help you find what you're looking for through other local providers.
Activities in and Around Eidfjord
From high-speed RIB tours on the fjord to peaceful walks in beautiful nature – we offer experiences for both adventure seekers and those who want to slow down. You can also visit Vøringsfossen, one of Norway’s most famous attractions.

Ulsnes Farm – Our Family Farm
Ulsnestunet - Three small cabins – two for sleeping only, and the third equipped with a kitchen and toilet. Brave guests can try the outdoor shower, while others are welcome to shower in the main house. Total sleeping capacity: 6 across the cabins.
Ulsneskjedlaren - An apartment with a double bed in one bedroom and bunk beds in another. It includes a kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a living room with TV/WiFi.


A Third-Generation Family Business
Eidfjord offers close access to the fjord and a short drive to Hardangervidda. Within a 30-minute drive you’ll find Måbødalen, Vøringsfossen, the Norwegian Nature Centre, Kjeåsen and Mikkelparken. Within 30 minutes on foot, you can reach Galleri Bergslien, Viking graves, medieval churches and all facilities in Eidfjord.
